Karen Kendall’s book stirs the heart. With amazing recall, she tells the story, not just of a young girl’s adventures in the world of activism, but of a loving network of extended family—such an inspiring model of the supportive community we need more than ever in our troubled world.

BOOK PUBLISHED TODAY

Today, I got a wonderful surprise. My publisher, iuniverse, contacted me to say they were sending one hardcover and one trade paperback to me to validate that the printer has everything set up properly. I was thrilled.

To my surprise, I found out the book is live and available at the iuniverse website. TODAY IS MY PUBLISH DAY!!!!!! I can't tell you how thrilled I was to realize I'm a published author. YIPEEE!

The hardcover is $27.95, trade paperback (I like this style the best) is $17.95 and the adobe digital edition (e-book) is just $6. But, I was surprised by the shipping price if you buy the books from iuniverse. It is pricey.

In a few weeks, the book will be available on Amazon & Barnes and Noble websites. There will also be a Kindle and Sony version available in a few weeks.

Greg is almost done with my website Some pages are still under construction. Once my supply of books arrive, I will be selling inscribed (autographed) books via my website. I will post once the website is ready for prime time.

So, if you just can't wait and don't mind spending $10 for shipping - click here IUNIVERSE

You might check out the link above also to see a close up of the book cover, the first two reviews and the book synopsis. I will let you all know as soon as the book is available on Amazon, Barnes and Noble and on my website.

Thanks to my first two book buyers: Aunt Julie and Allison Majure.
