Thank you to everyone who came out for the book signing at Otowi Station Bookstore. It was a great success. The bookstore sold about 40 books! We had a lot of fun. There was a nice mix of people I know from the community (including dear friends and coworkers) and people who read about the book in the Monitor newspaper. A number of folks had already read the book and bought a second (or third) book to give to friends.
I was initially impressed by my Uncle Dave and Uncle Danny who drove the hour and a half from Albuquerque for the event. That was until my Aunt Julie and Uncle Charlie shocked me by showing up unannounced all the way from California. My husband's parents and sister, Melissa, also came to the event.
